Golf at Madison Country Club
Nestled along the shores of Lake Erie lies Madison Country Club, a graceful course effortlessly contoured that strives to provide a masterful golf experience in Northern Ohio. Expertly manicured, with some of the state’s most admired panoramas on display, Madison Country Club’s guests leave feeling both pleasantly surprised and equally satisfied.
Founded in 1923 based on a design from perennial Ohio course architect Sandy Alves, Madison Country Club is adorned with Alves' signature features, such as demanding water shots and narrow fairways. Best known for its elegant landscaping, Madison has captured the surrounding features of this beachy bay area to create an exquisite course that feels organic to the region.
In an appeal to golfers of all skill levels, Madison Country Club provides four sets of tees. Corresponding to the surrounding topography and matured tree lines, this 6,487-yard par-72 registers a 72.2/129 course/slope rating — a stern challenge by any measure. The ability to accurately place approach shots will come in handy on Madison Country Club’s rather large greens, as one miscue can easily result in a blindsiding three-putt in no time. Read More...

Welcome Chef Michael Yoe!
Madison Country Club would like to welcome new Executive Chef Michael Yoe! Along with growing up in a family of strong culinary background, Michael has a Degree in the Culinary Arts from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh. After college he was the Chef at Joey’s Italian Grille in Chardon, and soon after was promoted to the Director of Kitchen Operations for both Joey’s Italian Grille restaurants (Chardon and Madison). At the beginning of 2013 he worked under Executive Chef Mike McAllen at The Kirtland Country Club in Willoughby. Michael is also a member of the American Culinary Federation. He is extremely excited to be a part of the revival of Madison Country Club, and to help bring life back to a place with a long, pristine reputation. Working with local businesses such as Rainbow Farms (Perry), he wants to bring new food and ideas to his home town, using fresh and local ingredients.
